Over 4 years ago I wrote to Professor Banerjee and Professor Alistair Burns about serious inconsistencies in declarations of interest.

Professor Burns replied: “I am writing to confirm receipt of your email, the contents of which I have noted.”

Thanks for this.

I agree that transparency is an important issue. We all have potential conflicts of interest it is important that these are made clear. I try to do so myself and precautionary principle is also useful! I agree that we all need to be able to raise any issue that we feel needs to be raised.
