My uncle, Dr Guy Scott, was President of Zambia. When my uncle last visited Scotland we chatted awa as if there was no tomorrow.
I have also communicated with a different sort of President: Sir Simon Wessely [formerly President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and current President of the Royal Society of Medicine]:

My personal experience of communicating with Presidents is that I have found it much easier [and more real) with an uncle than with a President of a Royal College.
